Information on the Safe Use of Pesticides

Ian Gower Associates offers a range of pesticide courses (sometimes called chemical control courses or spraying courses) to help you or your business. Many people undertake a pesticide application for weed control, but pesticides are also used for the control of insects and other pests and diseases.

The courses offered can all be applicable to either individuals or to groups of people. For group bookings discounts are available. Prices are available on request.

All of the trainers we use have been involved in pesticides training and certification at least since the NPTC units have been offered and most are Members of the BASIS Professional Register.

If required a pesticide course can be used for NRoSO (National Register of Sprayer Operators) or BASIS CPD points, please ask for details.

Courses offered:

NPTC units including PA1 training, PA6 training and PA2 training, attending these courses will give a person the knowledge and skills to obtain one of various NPTC sprayer certificates, such as a PA1 and PA6 certificate.

Refresher training for people who already have an NPTC certificate and wish to update their knowledge.

BASIS courses for supervisors and managers of people using pesticides.
